Diet Scams

Today, there are thousands of weight loss systems, programs, plans, pills, and equipment available if you're prepsred to fork over your cash or credit card.  Some are for real and live up to their promises of weight loss. Others (most) are fake.

Desperate dieters in the USA spend over 35 billion dollars a year trying to lose weight. Yet, whilst this cost is spiraling, our population continues to grow obese and also the number of obese citizens is steadily increasing too.

Enthusiastic diet salespeople are making small fortunes selling diet programs that claim to eliminate huge amounts of weight in short periods of time. They lure desperate people trying to lose weight with incredible claims and promises. These poor folks, grasping at any promise of hope, rush to join these programs and buy their (ususally overpriced) products month after month. Eventually, many many months (and dollars) later, reality finally sets in and it suddenly dawns on the unsuspecting fat person that this diet system is not working. The only thing that's getting lighter is their wallet. They've been scammed.

You'll lose some weight, but almost all is regained.

You can lose all the weight you want while eating everything in sight watching tv 20 hours a day-- according to the "experts" on cable Television shows.  Outright baloney,  don't believe a word. It's a scam!

Everyone is looking for a quick weight loss cure. There is no easy path. It reallly doesn't matter what they're trying to sell, whether it's fat absorbers, fat burners, cellulite pills, it's all a scam. They'll take your money but you'll stay just as fat as before -- only several dollars lighter.

New weight loss books hit the bookstores shelves by the hundreds. Magazines print thousands of articles on the subject. Millions of people prove every day that it is a lot easier to gain weight than to lose it.
Weight-loss attempts may succeed for a short time but experts feel that most dieters set themselves up for failure because they're looking for over-night results.

No such thing as overnight weight loss diets.

None of the weight loss plans promoted on television have had any proven long-term results. So save your money. Experts believe that using common sense and taking a long-term approach will result in a healthier dieting experience. Weight loss experts all agree that to sustain weight loss, a well balanced diet and exercise is essential.

Because Americans continue to consume excessive amounts of food and become increasingly obese, heart disease, diabetes, and several other weight related health issues are on the rise. And because we are always looking for an easy way out, there are weight loss plans and programs that will prey on your gullibility. These sharp operators know that overweight and obese folks are often insecure and so take advantage of them.

Consumers considering a weight loss program should research the subject and speak to a physician or health practitioner who is knowledgable about diet and nutrition. Not many are. Here's a physician's diet system
that continues to produce impressive weight loss results year after year.
